PBMT Certification

 

Perioperative Blood Management Technologist Examination Eligibility Criteria

 

The applicant must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the PBMT Examination:

  1. The applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

  2. Be practicing in the field of blood management for a minimum of one (1) year completing a yearly minimum of fifty (50) autotransfusion procedures (those involving an semiautomatic cell processing/washing device) with a total of fifty (50) procedures, with evidence thereof.

  3. Evidence of the clinical location(s) (hospital name and address), procedure type, date performed.

  4. The applicant must submit a completed application for examination by certified mail postmarked on or before 30 days prior to the examination.

August 11, 2010

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

in conjunction with AmSECT's New Advances on Blood Management

 

Perioperative Blood Management Technologist Examination Application must be sent by certified mail to IBBM National Office, postmarked by July 11th, 2010 to be eligible to sit for the exam.
